The change in seven different employment status in American adults from 2003 to 2013 is displayed in the bar chart, shown in percentage.
Overall, adult population in the US were most likely to be businessmen, but it was surpassed by self-employed in the last period. However, unemployed persons decreased year-to-year as well as medic and men in business, while others showed a reverse.
Initially, the most popular occupation in the US was to work in business, being the maximum data recorded at almost a half, followed by medical practitioners at a fifth. Furthermore, the figure for builders and freelancers accounted for one in ten as similar as that for unemployed people. When it comes to two remaining status, those were below a tenth.
Eventually, the proportion of American working in business declined dramatically to nearly a quarter, and that of unemployment and medics shrank also to be a half of that in the initial year. Simultaneously, building sector gained more popularity, showing twofold incline. Significantly, the rate of self-employed persons broke a record as the highest, recovering threefold virtually. Turning to others, that of the US population occupying in education training and hotel industry grew to share a similar percentage at closely two in ten throughout a decade.
