The diagram shows the consumption of renewable energy in the USA from 1949-2008.
Write a 150-word report for a university lecturer identifying the main trends and making comparisons where relevant.
The given line graph depicts, friendly-environment energy was consumed in America over 59 years period. It is clear that all the energy modestly inched from 1949 to 2008, but there was a slight drop in 2000. Furthermore, it seems that hydroelectric power and naturally-replaced sources of power were the main sources.
According to the graph, hydroelectric power has paramount importance that its trend was the same as the total was significantly shot to nearly 3 quadrillions from 1950 to half of 1970 and the figures became turbulent after 3 decades, about between 2 and 4 quadrillions. In addition, the remaining indispensable one, which was wood, jumped back and forth erratically, around nearly 1.5-2.
On the other hand, biofuels, and wind are forecast to play a less essential role in the US's use that there was not consumed over 30 years. After a non-used duration, a remarkable feature of their changes, expected to crawl to nearly 2 quadrillions Btu, was from 1980 to 2000.
