It is clearly that there was an increase in the number of people who use chinese and arabic. However, the figure for italian and greek dropped widely.
In 1986, chinese was the native language of only about 102000 people. Nevertheless, the number rose significantly every year and reached a peak in 2011 with 350000 people. Similarly, there was a moderately rise in the number of people who used arabic, from 50000 people in 1986 to 150000 people in 2011
In contrast, the number of people speaking European languages such as italian and greek followed a downward trend. Started with 240000 people, the figure for greek fell gradually and hit the lowest point in 2011, with approximately 190000 people. Finally, the quantity for italian was alike, with 150000 in 1986, then dropped sharply from 1987 tob2006, and remained stable from 2006 to 2011
