People in many countries have to spend more and more
time away from their home. Why is this? What are the effects on people
themselves and their families?
It is true that going out to study and work or take part in outdoor activities more and more popular in the modern society. This trend make the people spend almost time in outside rather than stay at home. There are various reasons behind this issue and this will bring specific impact on both people themselves and their families.
There are two important reasons can explain why people have less time to stay with their families. Firstly, with the competition in society lead to people go out and seek the opportunity for themselves. In other words, if students have dream to get scholarship, they must work harder by participate extra class after leaving school or take part in volunteer activities to create a perfect profiles or employee want to get promotion in company, they must push themselves work in high frequency, even work overtime. Almost time people have used for studying and working to help them have a better life in the future, therefore, they do not enough time at home anymore. Secondly, with the development of internet and the globalization, people tend to ignore the relationship with their families and spend time to make new friends. They preferred doing outdoor activities such as shopping, chatting with their friends rather than playing or eating at home with families.
Both factors have important consequences for individuals and their families. When people have concentrated on their work and working in high level, their mental and physical health will be affected. Working to much make people fell stress, hence they easy angry with the small thing or other people. As a result, they will gradually lose the relationship with friends or other member of family. In addition, sitting in the class or in the company for a long time without doing exercise bring higher rate of obesity which is dangerous disease. Besides that, if people spend time in outside more than stay at home it will affect the connection between members. For instance, parents focus on working to earn money, they cannot have enough time close with their children to educate them. As consequence, the development of children will have problem in the future.
In conclusion, some reasons are identified to explain why people tend to spend less time in their home and the consequences are far-reaching for individuals and their families.
