The Ryemouth village is located on the north side of the sea. In 1995, there was a large forest park next to the farmland on the east. However, at present, these landscapes have been converted into a golf course and tennis courts. From 1995 to the present, some houses have been established on two sides of the main road with an additional road to the west.
Over the 27-year period, blocks of shops have been transformed into a few restaurants. In the southeast of the village, the hotel still stands in the old location, but the car park on the right of it has completely vanished. On the remaining side of the road, apartments have replaced the fish markets, meanwhile, the cafe has still stayed on.
