Task 1: You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You are taking a course at a local college. The deadline for your project was last week but you haven't finished it.
Write a letter to your lecturer. In your letter
introduce yourself
explain why you haven't handed in the project yet
request more time to do it.
Dear Mr. Amir,
I am Hoang Do, currently a third-year student in your Dot Net class, section 302. I am writing this as the issue had with the project for Databases management. Even though it was due last week, I am afraid that I am unable to finish it till next week. My apologies for the late notice, I tested positive for Covid-19 three days before the due date, and the symptoms got worse. I was coughing heavily along with continuous fever which made me unconscious for some days. As soon as I was getting better, I have been working on the project to perform the best solution.
If possible, could you extend the due date for my project submission by extra four days. As promised, I will hand it in time and with the most optimized solution project.
Thank you for reading my email, if there is anything you need me to clarify please let me know. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you in advance,
Hoang Do
