The maps below show how a college looks at present and what it will look like after a proposed development
The two pictures compare the layouts of a college in two periods, namely now and 2025. It is clear that there are changes in the layout of this college over the period shown. The main modification will include the expansion of a building as well as a car park, and the removal of a garden.
Looking at the changes in more detail, we can see that in the present time there are a footpath and a garden in the north of the main building. In 2025, however, these facilities will be removed to make way for a shop, toilets, and a classroom. In addition, the lunch area in the northwest will be also expanded toward the north, with more seats. Furthermore, the entrance in the northern section of the building will be moved to the southern part, where the toilets are now.
The two maps also show that the reception in the east of the building will be relocated to the north of the new entrance, creating space for a new classroom. The classroom in the bottom left corner and the library in the bottom right corner will switch places. Finally, the footpath on the left of the building will be demolished in order to expand the car park
