The bar chart compares how many men and women passed their driving test in an Asian country from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, there was an increase in the percentage of women and men, with men witnessing the most dramatic changes. In addition, the figure for women consistently had the highest percentage during the years examined.
The share of women passing their driving test started at approximately 48 percent, after which it experienced a rise to just over 50 percent in 1990. A similar change can be seen in the figure for men but to a lesser extent, which was at shy of 30 percent, followed by a significant growth to around 37 percent.
About 70 percent of women passed their driving test in 2000, with a subsequent decrease to roughly 65 percent at the end of the period. The figure for men saw an opposite trend, reaching its peak of around 50 percent of men passed the driving test, before ending the period at the same percent.
