The chart below shows the figure for international conferences held in three different cities between 1980 and 2010
The line chart illustrates the number of international conferences organised in three other town over the time frame.
As can be seen from the chart, it was clear that whereas the vast majorities of international meetings of city A and B witnessed a downward trend, the opposite was true for the figure for city C. The number of international conferences organised in town C increased dramatically over the period shown.
In 1980, the figure for international meetings taking place in city A reached a peak of exactly 35. This figure was roughly 12 higher than the number of international conferences held in city B, compared to presicely 0 in city C.
By 2010, there was a significant rise in the number of international meetings held in city C, at by approximately 16 from 1980 to 1985, after which this figure declined slightly to 14 in 1990. This figure soared to exactly 35, which came top, at which point this figure reduced dramatically to precisely 25, before going up slowly to about 29 in 2010. In contrast, the number of international meetings organised in town A declined slightly by about 15 between 1980 and 2010. Similarly, the vast majority of international conferences held in city B went down to roughly by 7 by 1990, after which this figure climbed slowly to 21 in 1995, before reducing gradually to exactly 15 in 2010.
