Tourists office
The given line graph provides a comparison of the number of requests for information in Britain’s tourist office between January and June.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that while the number of requests for information made in person and by telephone saw an upward trend, the opposite was true for the number of requests for information by letter/email.
Looking at the graph for more details, at the beginning of the period shown, the number of requests made by telephone was the highest, at around 850. The figure for requests through letter/email was lower, around 690. However, the requests for information from residents, who came in person accounted for the lowest number, at nearly 410.
For the rest of the graph, in the period from January to June, in-person requests for information saw an increase in the number, reaching a peak of approximately 1900. There was also a significant rise in the number of requests made by telephone, at precisely 1600 in June. In contrast, a constant decrease was seen in the figure for letter/email requests, around 390 at the end.
