The process of Pu-erh Raw Tea and Ripe Tea Production.
The picture illustrates the process of Pu-erh Raw Tea and Ripe tea production.
Overall, Pu-Erh Ripe Tea production consists of five stages. Meanwhile, producing Vintage Pu-erh Raw Tea only requires four steps.
In the first stage, tea leaves are fried in a pan using a fire to eliminate enzymes. Then, the roasted tea leaves are rolled under the sun to create loose raw tea. Following that, the tea is molded to create a fermentation process, and this process produces loose Ripe Tea. After that, the tea undergoes the compression stage to produce the final product, Pu-erh ripe tea.
Moving to the production of Ripe Tea. The first two initial processes are similar to that of Pu-erh Ripe tea. Tea leaves are fried in a pan to deactivate the enzyme. In the second stage, the fried-tea leaves are rolled under the sun to produce loose raw tea. After that, Pu-erh raw tea is, then, compressed. Finally, it is stored to produce vintage Pu-erh Raw tea.
