The plan below shows the village of Pebbleton 20 years ago and now.
The map illustrates the significant changes have been made in Pebbleton over the period of 20 years.
As can be seen from the graph, it is apparent that the most noticeable change was the addition of other facilities such as a footpath, a tennis court, and a community center as well as the replacement of the old fort with the children’s playground and the film studio with the flats along the river.
Specifically, on the western side of the city, while the lighthouse remained in the same position as its initial for 20 years, the old fort was demolished to make way for the construction of the children’s playground. In addition, the film studio which was located in the corner western side of the island was replaced by new flats. At present, the new footpath has been built in order to connect the coast road and the island, which greatly assisted students’ school across the river. There was also a footpath at the end of the footbridge, and a new tennis court was added between the footpath and a lighthouse land.
Regards to the north of the map, the number of local houses increased considerably throughout the examined period, whereas a community center was established, which was located near the residential area. Towards the eastern side of the city, almost every feature such as the old road, the playing field, and the roadbridge remained unchanged.
