The graph below show that the percentage of Australian export to 4 countries from 1990 to 2012.
The graph given compares Australia in terms of the amount of cargo exported to four distinct nations over a period of 22 years from 1990 to 2012.
It is evident from the graph that during the research period, China and Japan were by far the two most appealing export markets of Australia. Addtionally, an oscillating trend was the norm in all categories except for the rate of China.
In 1990, the share of goods exported to Japan constituted approximately 25% of the total, which made it become the most potential export market in that year. Likewise, the figure for the USA was nearly 2 times as low as that of Japan, at 10%, compared to only 3% and 2% of cargo purchased by China and India in turn.
To 2010, Australian manufacturers were fond of exporting goods to China, with over 25% of the total, at which point it started to slacken to about 28% and remained the peak of the graph. Meanwhile, this nation witnessed insignificant dips to above 16% and 15 % in the percentage of Japan in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Conversely, after having undergone a minimal growth to approximately 8% in 2010, the proportion of China began to drop steadily to 6% in 2012, accompanied by a marginal decline to 7% recorded in the figure for the US.
