The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared.

The bar chart compares the proportion of people who would like to study adult education according to different purposes and the pie chart gives information about the proportion of learners in terms of sharing the cost thanks to three categories.
Overall, it can be seen from the first chart that the majority of participants invests in this kind of education in order to gain necessary certifications or have interest in taking the course is much slightly higher in comparison with the others. Noticeably, the percentage of people choosing to pay individually experiences an upward trend.
With regard to the first chart, a great number of respondents want to achieve qualifications or feel satisfied with subjects, peaked at about 38% of the former and 40% of the latter. On the contrary, the portion of reasons involving in fancying studying, getting high promotion or it is helpful for their current career is marginally lower, which increments from 20% to 22%. Meanwhile, a few citizens take this course to meet people and change the job, stand at approximately one in ten.
On the other hand, as is observed from the second chart that the figure for those who want to fund individually goes up dramatically, at around 40%, followed by employer and taxpayer with 35% and roughly a quarter respectively.
