Some people consider art to be essential and others think it is not. Which view do you agree with and why?

As the standard of living has continued to improve year after year, art has assumed a significant role in our daily lives. Consequently, there are some who argue that art is indeed esstential to human existence, while others hold a contrary viewpoint. Personally, I firmly believe that human cannot live without art, and there are several reasons to support this assertion.

The main reason why art is undoubtedly a basic necessity is because it provides a form of emotional and psychological expression and release, enabling individuals to explore and process their feelings. Art serves as an outlet for self-expression in a way that words alone cannot always convey. For example, people often hang paintings on the walls of their home to alleviate stress and create a unique ambiance, or listen to music to soothe the anxieties. In essense, engaging with art can be a form of therapy, allowing individual to examine and cope with their emotions, reduce stress, and enhance their overall well-being.

Furthermore, art stimulates innovation and creativity. It pushes the boundaries of what is deemed possible and inspires new ideas and perspectives. Take graffiti art, for instance, which was initially created to embellish the dull walls with vibrant and meaningful expressions, encouraging the young people to develop their own identities distint from their parents' generation. Artistic creativity can also extend into other domains of life, such as science, technology, and business, igniting innovation and progress in these fields.

In conclusion, the importance of art cannot be understated. Art has the power to enrich our lives, express our emotions, inspire innovation and creativity. Regardless of whether we deem it essential or not, it is indisputable that art plays a vital role in human life.
