The given bar chart compares the the time of telephone calls in terms of three types in the UK during a period of seven years.
Overall, while national and international calls and mobiles call saw an upward trend in the amount of time, local calls saw a fluctuate trend. It is clear that poeple spent most time for domestic calls.
In 1995, the amount of time made by local calls was about 70 billions minutes, followed by national and internaltional calls and mobiles calls, around 35 billion minutes and 5 billion minutes respectively. The local calls fluctuated considerably, peaked at 90 billions minutes in 1999 and then dropped to over 70 millions minutes in 2002.
Regarding the mobiles calls, until 1998, the quantity of minutes of this call was just under 10 billions minutes. This figure then increased significantly and finished at about 45 billions minutes. National and international calls saw a slight increase, reached a high of approximately 60 billions minutes in the last years of this period of time.
