The pie chart illustrates the percentage of people who are less productive of agricultural lands in four different groups, and the table shows the effects of it in three regions of the world during the 1990s.
In general, the most important cause related to over-grazing 35 percent in Europe affected more than other regions 7.7 percent during the 1990s.
As can be seen, there are three main causes that agricultural lands become less productive such as over-grazing, deforestation, and over-cultivation ordered by 35,30, and 28 percent, and another group exists too which is no longer significant. Europe was affected more than others in the mentioned causes. Deforestation has 9.8 percent amount of 23 percent and remained related to over-cultivation and over-grazing by 7.7 and 5.5 percent. After Europe, Oceania is located in second place with a total of 13 percent over-grazing affected of 11.3 percent and finally North America by 5 percent located at third place that over-cultivation in this region has most affected agriculture during the 1990s.
In total, during the 1990s Europe was affected more than other regions by 23 percent.
