Overall, it is evident that the population has markedly been increased in all countries, including Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Malaysia has been far crowded than others; however, Thailand has been predicted to have the less inhabitants in urban areas.
To begin with, Malaysia and Philippines had the roughly same percentage in 1970, accounting for 30 percent, compared with the lower percentage in Thailand and Indonesia, which laid from 10 to 20 percent. Moreover, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand rates have gone up all time. While Indonesia saw a significant growth in overall, started with approximately 13 percent but ended up in 2020 at 50 percent. It is also predicted continuously to grow at 60, which will be the second highest rate in 2040. In contrast to Indonesia, the Philippines saw a slight decline from 1990 to 2010 period, decreased from 50 to 45 percent and the rate is expected to reach approximately 52 percent.
In a nutshell, the crowded trends in distinct countries have significantly increased, especially in Malaysia and Indonesia. On the contrary, the Philippines had a slight decline trend, which was the only decreased period in all time.
