how you have the potential to make an exceptional contribution to the university
In the earlier part of my school days was a fun loving kid, much interested in sports and extracurricular activities. But once I entered high school there was a huge change in academics by introduction of new subjects such as Algebra, Magnetism etc. It was new and got a piece of advice from my father that “Work Harder to Achieve Goals”. This made a lot more curious and dedicated towards what I do. Years passed and were in the last years of High school where my Mathematics Teacher and well-wisher Mrs. Rajeswari taught me a new lesson “Work Smarter and Discover new things”. That eventually changed my idea towards education and made me to fall in love towards Engineering.
Engineering became my passion and my first goal of professionalism, achieved it by making a successful entry into “Panimalar Institute of Technology”. During 4 years of engineering course learnt several things like Team Work, Leadership, Event organizing etc. Passion drives one towards new horizons same as i learnt new thing about technology and its applications. During my final year of college there was chance to prove our talents and improvise our learning’s through our team project.
After completing graduation made an entry into “Cognizant Technology Solutions” with the introduction of Database Technology. Working with Database increased my interest to explore further. IT taught me how Data plays an important role in day to day life. Historical data could be used effectively for a better future. This idea triggered a motivation to learn more and to use this knowledge in an efficient manner. ” Technology is the key for a better future” was my new idea. Cognizant gave a perfect platform to learn new skills like Team coordination, communication, leadership etc. I had the opportunity to interact with clients I work for and gave me a chance to understand their business and work culture, thus was rewarded with “Best Performer Award” and “Pillar of the month” for best support and testing service with zero escalations.
Working for a UK based Insurance client showed me how Database play an effective role in Business. The organized manner of the Database system has increased its efficiency thus serving its purpose. Perusing a master’s degree in Data Science would help to widen my knowledge and serving the society better.
