Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Governments should spend the most money on national defense.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Currently, there have been many debates about how governments should spend the money. Some people think that national defense should receive the most money, whereas others disagree. As far as I am concerned, spending the most money on national defense is not an ideal idea because education, healthcare system and infrastructure are the most important three things for the citizens.

To begin with, investing the money on education is necessary to improve the citizen's quality of life. The more people become educated, the better society it become. When people have jobs and happy with their life, there is less trouble in the country.

Secondly, healthcare system needs big funds from the government to provide necessary services whenever the citizen needs. Health is the most important thing for human being. Without having good health, people can't have quality of life and it's government role to make sure all the healthcare system is functioning properly.

Moreover, infrastructure such as load and public transportation needs funds from the government. When the city have better infrastructure, it makes better place to live. If the government don't fund, no one does.

To sum up, it is important for the government to assure the citizen's better life before spending huge money into national defense.
