Essay topics:

Company management should conduct routine monitoring of all employee e-mail correspondence. Such monitoring will reduce the waste of resources such as time and system capacity, as well as protect the company from lawsuits."

Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.

Policies are regulatory means with which organizations, societies, amongst others are governed. It's ranges from protecting the rights of her people, protecting the said organization both fro external, and internal issues that could arise, and giving direction and focus for achieving goals and attaining zenith feats. As this is the foundation on which the very essence of an organization is built, it is necessary that the right rules are applied, understood, standby, and protected at all times. The policy prompt suggests that all correspondence within and concerning an organization, should be monitored. I thus mostly agree with this policy, for two major reasons that I will be expansiating on. However, I do agree with the opponents that doing this is more or less like infringing people's privacy. But this policy can be applied such that privacy is still respected, and ensured.

Firstly, I do agree with monitoring correspondences as regards organization for the stated reasons, which are it reduces waste of resources and protects the company from lawsuits. In an organization, there are resources and benefits, (these two being different) that ought be harnessed in different ways and not abused. Studies have shown that humans when given gifts abuse such, and divert needed resources for personal use, which often outs companies in trouble. For example, in a telecommunication company, in Janison street, Judes and Com Coorporation, where employees have access to weekly airtime bonuses for personal use (benefit), and they also have airtime quota for company correspondence (resources), it was revealed during yearly financial recgoclition that people greedily used the airtime quota for work for personal use, and kept theirs to either sell, or give out for selfish philanthropic deeds. These attitude was discovered when people requested more than they needed to fulfill their work per week. This put J and C in financial backlog to deal with. Also, one of the employees, in a quest to get a better job, leaked sensitive data to rival companies. If there correspondences where monitored, this would have been discovered, and J and C, would still be financially afloat, and not ridden with these arrising lawsuits as seen now.

Accountability is another resson for which monitoring of employees correspondence, especially with work resources is necessary. Accountability ensures gaols are met, and if not, effective evaluation will lead to better insights as to why or why not certain things happened. Times Real did a research and rolled out a statistics showing how companies in 2023 faired. This study was more directed at the strategies applied in these companies as regards monitoring and evaluation. It was observed that companies who did transparent evaluation and accounting for resources faired financially better at a statistics of 70% financial stability, and had their most of their members with them after a long time, as against companies doing at a statistics of below 30%, who neither monitored their resources, nor their had their employees understand why they embarked on whatever they did, The employment trend in this companies keeps rising as people don't stay.

I do concede, as earlier stated that this would infringe on employees privacy, as not all correspndences concerns the company. And because of this, employees don't readily yield; Bit, with transparency incorporated into this monitoring, and sensitisation on its benefit, people will be more open.
