Nowadays, young people are admiring media and sport celebrities , even though they do not set a good example. Do you think this is a positive or negative development ?
In this contemporary life, there are many technological devices and social media. Therefore, many young people admire the media and well-known people even though they are not good role models. This essay will examine the cause of that and examine both sides before conclusion is drawn.
Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of young people admiring many celebrities but they are not good examples. From one standpoint, emulating famous entertainment companies could change the behavior and fashion among young adolescents who are not mature enough to understand which is suitable for society. This matters of that, the famous person show their energy and propensities for copying anything celebrities do in TV, social media that they watching, even if their actions go against with the value traditional of country. Regarding fashion, the way Dam Vinh Hung, a famous singer in Viet Nam, customized the traditional dress but it's a really unacceptable trend of fashion with exposed skin. Unfortunately, the young have yet to know and understand long-term shortcomings such as the trend of traditional ways of dressing which value the beauty and elegance of Ao Dai.
In addition, this trend could tempt many young people including those who are not academically inclined or show no interest in researching about the culture and traditional things of the country. Moreover, they can have some warnings and bad arguments on social media to protect their favorite persons and sometimes spread their negative vibes to everyone, thereby adding great burdens for government and social management and wasting time that these young people could spend on their career paths.
In conclusion, I suppose the phenomenon that young people idolize media and sport celebrated individuals who are notorious in some aspects is negative.
