You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.
Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter:
» explain why you are writing
» express concern about the missing card
» ask them what they intend to do
Dear Sir,
My name is Truong Nguyen, who is currently a customer of your bank service. I have received the bank’s letter to confirm the receipt of my new Mastercard. However, I did not find any card in the envelope when I received it on Tuesday from the shipping company. Therefore, I am writing this letter to inform you this situation and request the bank to check again.
For your information, I was informed to have my card on Monday by the receptionist. However, it was not until Tuesday that I received the envelope from the bank. Although, that delay seemed acceptable due to the overload of shipping service, but when I checked again, the envelope was ripped at the corner with no card inside. This is very concerned to me if there are any individuals took advantage of the card. Therefore, I am entitled to demand a revise and temporarily lock my bank account until the problem is clear. Since, I do not know whether this is the bank’s or shipping company’s fault, I suggest that you work with the shipping service to help solve this problem quickly.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Truong Nguyen.
