The following illustrations show the comparison between the existing landmarks inside Peyton Park and the suggested innovations proposed for the renovation of the park.
In the first diagram, the lake occupies the center of the park and the different amenities surround it. The car park is located at the south end while tables are seen in the north end for visitors who wants to have a picnic in the park. A tennis court is also available just west of the lake.
The proposed changes are seen in the second diagram. First, the tennis court will be move on the east side of the lake. Second, in place of the former is an added feature which is a swimming dock. Lastly, the picnic areas will be move to the left to make room for another added feature, the playground. The lake and the parking lot’s location will remain unchanged.
In summary, the major changes proposed in the renovation of Peyton Park include moving of the tennis court and picnic area. As well as, the addition of new amenities which are the play zone and swimming dock.
