You will go to London soon to stay there for one year. Write a letter to an agency to get information about accommodation. In your letter, you should say:
• why you are going to London
• what kind of accommodation you want
• when you will arrive
Dear Sir
I am writing this letter to you to seek information about the types of the accommodations available in London and to tell you about my preferences.
Well, to accomplish my further studies, I have chosen University of London and also got a scholarship. My course is for one year so I am planning to stay there for a year. As, no friends or relatives of mine are staying in London, so I am consulting to you about the varieties of stays in London which I can afford. I preferred to stay in a single sharing room so that my studies will not get affected. Moreover, it is my preference to have a kitchen so that I can cook food of my own choice.
My college starts on 1st of September and I have booked my tickets for 20th of August and will reach at airport on 21st of August at 5'O clock in the evening according to London's date and time. Could you please arrange my stay till that and let me know if you are providing a pickup facility from the airport.
Looking forward to your prompt reply.
Yours sincerely
James Thompson
