The given charts well compare how water was distributed in use in the world. It can be clearly seen from the charts that developing countries mostly applied water for agricultural purpose, while the developed tended to be keen on using it in industrial.
The most striking figures were the demand of water for agricultural aspect in Central Asia, Africa and South East Asia regions, which were respectively 88%, 84% and 81%. Following these segments was the data of South America zone, contributing as 71% to the total water usage. Europe and North America regions had the least proportion in applying water for farming purpose, which were under 40%, respectively.
Instead of using water in agriculture, European and North American people focused on spending it on industrial aspect, with around 50% of water usage. Meanwhile, the other four regions weren't interested much on it and had nearly the same amount of water in use, within the range of 7% and 12%.
Lastly, for domestic use, America and Europe regions were all over 13% of the water used percentage, while the rests got a slight proportion, approximately 8%.
