The given circular charts highlight the lowdown about the production of electricity in two European countries:Germany and France from three different sources such as thermal energy, nuclear power, renewable sources. The data is calibrated in per centum.
It can be seen that, in Germany 59.6% of the total electricity was produced by thermal energy. In addition to this, nuclear and renewable sources had been produced 23% and 17.4% of electricity respectively. To add on, in further classification of renewable energy sources, biomass generated 39.3% of electricity, closely followed by wind at 36.9%. Surprisingly, there was no electricity generation by geothermal resources.
As far as the trend was concerned, it can be notified that nuclear power was main source of electricity, which produced 76% of total electricity in France. Apart from this, 10.3% power had been generated by thermal energy meanwhile, 13.7% electricity had produced by renewable sources. Furthermore, the electricity produced by renewable sources like biomass, wind and hydroelectric was 8.1%, 10.5% and 80.5% respectively.
