The diagrams show the stages and equipment used in the process of cement making and how cement is used to produce the concrete for building purposes.
The given diagrammatic representations revel the information about the production of cement by distinct steps as well as use of equipments, and conversion of cement into concrete for its different building purposes. It is clear and coherent representation.
It is crystal clear that, cement is produced from clay and limestone by using four different equipments: Crushers, Mixers, Rotating Heater and Grinder, whereas concrete is being prepared from four materials: cement, water, sand and gravel in a fixed proportions.
At the first glance, the initial step involves in cement production, which is crushing of both limestone and clay by the use of crusher; the crushed product has been passed through mixer . The resulting mixture from mixer is passed through pipe into rotating heater. After that, rotating heater rotate the mixture along with the supply of heat, and blend is being dropped on the grinder. The end product of grinder is known as cement. Finally, the cement is packed into bags and ready for sale.
However, concrete has been produced from cement by the use four materials: water, cement, sand and gravel. The materials are being taken in proportions of 10%, 15%, 25% and 50% respectively, and concrete mixer is being filled with materials in fixed proportions. Concrete mixture rotates in clockwise direction and concrete is obtained as the final product.
