Dear James,
I am writing to request you my apology for damaging the book "The Wings of Fire" - by APJ Kalam, which I have borrowed day before yesterday. The damage happened due to my negligence in the book.
I have loved reading the book and it became one of my best books ever I read. I have completed reading 40 pages in the evening I have bought it from you and thought of continuing the next day. I somehow forgot to put back into the book rack and just left it on the reading table. Later when I went back in the evening of next to resume my reading, I found that some of the pages have been turned off and pen marks were made on other pages. I found to be known later that was done by my 2-year-old daughter while she grabbed the book and played with it.
I take the complete blame for the damage of the book and as a token of responsibility, I promise you that I will make an arrangement of new copy for you within two days or earlier. Please accept this letter as my apology.
Awaiting to hearing from you.
Regards,
John
