The bar graph shows the proportion of male and female who did physical activity in 6 age groups in Australia in 2010. It is obvious from the graph that the majority of activities in each age groups was done by women.
The most remarkable feature of the chart is that there was only 1 group, in fact 15 to 24 years old, that the percentage of men was higher than that of women. This percentage was 52.8% which was also the highest percentage in men group in all age groups while men, who aged between 35 and 40, doing physical activity was the lowest at 39.5%. The other age groups of men attended exercise ranging from around 42% to around 47%.
The largest proportion in attending physical activity of women was the aged women between 45 and 54 years at 53.3% and there were 2 groups of women, which had percentage over 50 in doing exercise, including 35 to 44 by 52.5% and 55 to 64 by 53%. The lowest of percentage of women exercise was 47.1% in the aged women over 64 years old and this percent nearly equal to the men percentage (46.7%) in the same age group. The rest women groups did regular physical activity around 48%.
