The bar chart compares the percentage of Australian men and women doing regular physical activity between 15 and 65 age groups in 2010.
According to the chart, there were different trends for men and women doing exercise. The percentage of physical activity by women had a slightly increased between 15 to 24 and 25 to 34, about 47.7% to 48.9%. After that three next age group, the figures remained stable an average 53 %. It then dropped to 47.1 percent in the last group.
Men started off exercise more than women, but their percentage followed a different pattern. The first age group, 15 to 24, physical activity by men reached a peak at 52.8%. But the two next groups had gradual decrease to receive 39.5 percent. However, among 45 to 65 age groups, the percentage of doing regular physical activity has risen to 46.7%.
Overall, there was a strong trend in physical activities in middle age women that the bar shows this trend for men in the first age group. In the other age groups, women and men had less than 50% regular physical activity.
