Comparison of Energy Production. The pie charts below show the comparison of different kinds of energy production of France in 2 years.
The pie charts compare the percentage of five categories of energy production in France between 1995 and 2005. From a general perspective, different trends could be observed, all categories had an increase except the Petro over the period.
It is evident from the information provided that Coal had the highest percentage of energy production at 29.8%, followed by Gas and Petro. In contrast, Nuclear and Other were the lowest in comparison with others, at 6.4% and 4.9% respectively.
During the next ten years, Coal and Gas made up the largest proportion at just over 60% of energy production, in which Coal was still at the top at 30.93%. Gas also experienced a gradual growth by about 1%, while Petro witnessed a significant reduction from 29.27% to 19.55% in the percentage of energy production. Meanwhile. Nuclear and Other both rise slightly but still slow compared with the other categories and remained at the bottom of the proportion of energy production at the end of the time period.
