Although you have never studied computing, you have always been interested in computers – you buy magazines about them, and you have taught yourself many skills on your computer at home. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have studied computing at college or university.
Write a letter to the Enrollment Officer asking if you can enroll, explaining your circumstances and asking if he/she will make a special exception for you.
Dear Officer,
I am John Gresham, a resident of East Ham, London, who has been a computer enthusiast right from my schooling. I am writing this letter to seek the possibility of enrolling into the course.
The advertisement snippet about the training session mentions that the course open only for students and graduates with a computer background either at college or university level. Though my keen interest at school was computers, I was not able to pursue secondary education owing to my family’s financial situation.
Nevertheless, my deep desire towards programming has always been alive and in a way motivated me to read books and articles on intriguing concepts of cloud technologies. I have been a freelancer since 2010 taking up assignments and projects from a wide range of clientele, receiving a positive feedback.
My urge to pursue to AWS course arises from the fact that the session is conducted by well renowned programmer Mr. Ram who has been a game changer in cloud industry. Hence, I request you to allow me to sign up for the course, based on my real-time experience.
I would be delighted if an exception can be made based on my situation. Looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
John Gresham
