The bar graphs give information about what kind of things people do excluding full-time after graduate schools and postgraduate ones in 2008 in the UK.
For graduate students, the dominant type is to further study after they acquire the bachelor’s degree, ranking first with nearly 30,000. On the contrary, few people (3500) would like to do volunteer work. Unemployment and part-time work almost share the same number of graduates, respectively 17.735 and 16,235.
The situation about postgraduates is similar. Since the total number of the post-graduates is much smaller than that of graduates, the quantities of people of the four types are almost 10 times fewer. Furthering education ranks first with 2,725. Unlike graduate students, the larger rate of people after postgraduate schools do part-time jobs, which is only 200 people fewer than that of the first rank. The ratio of unemployment and volunteer work rank third and least, with 1,625 and 345 separately.
In conclusion, students are willing to continue study in both stages but may try to start waking as part-time with the increase of age due to the financial burden.
