Some university teachers prefer to record their lectures before classes. In this way, students will be familiar with the lecture in advance and teachers help students practice in classes while they are watching or listening lectures. Do you think it is an effective way to learn?
The quality of the college education, in some ways, determines the future of a nation and everyone pays a close attention on it. In university, some professors prefer to introduce the topic in the class and then teach students about it in details. However, some other professors tend to record their lecture before class, and give students a chance to learn about it by themselves first. From my perspective, I believe that the latter choice would be more effective way for university education.
Knowing the topic before classes and preparing for it, students might have more possibilities and opportunities to train their self learning ability. Before classes, students would have to gather the information about the topic, which will be discussed in classes, and link their own knowledge to the topic. For example, when I was in the college, my advanced math teachers always give us his recorded lecture before classes and asked us to prepare for it. At first, I find it extreme hard for me, for I did not know how to find the information I would need for the next class and what the relationship between this topic and my own knowledge. However, things had changed after a semester, I gradually formed my own self learning style and when I comes troubles when studying, I have a clear mind about how and where I could find the answers. So, without my math teachers, I will never own my ability to learn by my self.
Besides students, teachers will be benefits from this teaching styles, making full use to time in classes. After giving recorded lecture and asking students prepare for it, teachers will not have to introduce some important but can be easily learned by oneself information during class, thus, they can make full use of time during classes. For a student major in physics, after preparing for the class, he would already understand the importance and historic background of the physics, as a result, during the class, he or her teachers could devoted themselves to teaching students about the important theories of physics and how we can adopt it to the betterment of our society. Also, the precious time during classes could be taken by teachers and students to discussed about more meaningful topics. Therefore, teachers will not have to prepare too much about those unimportant information.
In a words, the recorded lecture should be given to students before students in order to given them the chance to learn by themselves, and to make full use of time during the classes.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
