Overall, it is clear that the number of conferences in City C increased significantly and it was generally the highest among three. Moreover, City A and B saw a sharp decline in the number of international conferences hosted. Units are measured in numbers.
During the first 5 years, the figure in City C rose sharply from 0 to 20, then it was followed by a slight increase in 1995 before surging to reach the highest peak at 35 conferences in 2005. However, the year 2005 saw a small decline of about 4 and the figure then continued to went down to just above 30 conferences in 2010.
On the contrary, the number of official meetings in City A and B was generally high in 1980, at 35 and 30 conferences respectively. Figures for both cities then fell to their lowest peak at 29 conferences in City A and 20 conferences in City B, they it saw a huge fluctuation between 1985 and 2005. In the end, the figure for City B overtook city A to stand at around 26 and 24 respectively.
