You have been invited to speak at your old high school. Write to the school. In your letter:
Make a suggestion about what you could speak about
Find out how long you will need to speak for
Ask how many people will be there
Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for inviting me to the event named ‘Tech Tornado’ which takes place every year at our school. Furthermore, I am immensely delighted and privileged to represent as the speaker for this event.
After looking into the brochure, I feel that the goal of my speaking can be to share a pivotal piece of information on other career paths like becoming a dance teacher, choreographer, costume designer because I believe these paths also bring wealth and satisfaction.
Adding to it, can you please let me know dedicated time for my speech? I am sure there must be many spokespersons too.
Along with that, it would be great if you can offer head counts to me as to understand if there is plenty of room to bring my family to the event.
Looking forward to spending a memorable evening together.
Yours sincerely,
Pushpa
