Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to show my keen interest in the position of tour guide as advertised in the local newspaper.

To elucidate there are many reasons for my interest in the job but the most alluring one being that this job is only on weekends and additionally offers a great opportunity to earn some extra bucks. I would like to highlight here that I have right educational credentials which are a Master’s degree in tourism management backed by a rich experience of working as a tour guide with a local tour and travel Company which I believe will enable me to fulfil the role and responsibilities involved in this job.

I have worked with many travel companies in the past as a tour guide and have specialized in organizing visits for large tourists groups around our city additionally I have in-depth knowledge of famous historical tourist spots which will enable me to explain the significance of such monuments to the visitors.
I hope you give due consideration to my application.
