The first map illustrates what a university’s sports center is like currently and the second describes the projection for its look in the future.
It is clear that there is an entrance in the north of the building, with a reception siting on the north of the entrance. On the left of the reception, there is a changing room, connected to a 25-meter pool lying in the central area of the construction. Furthermore, a gym and the area for seating is on the north and west of the pool respectively, while at the west and east of the center are two outdoor courts of the same size.
Moving on to the second diagram, we can see that there will be some striking changes, except the reception, the pool, the changing room as well as the seating. Specifically, A sports shop and a cafe are planned to be set up at both sides of the entrance. Another remarkable difference is the establishment of two new changing rooms, which will lie in the south-eastern and south-western corners. It should be noted that the western outdoor courts are designed to give way to a leisure pool. Plus, the gym will be enlarged to twice of its former size. Apart from that, the eastern sports courts will be demolished to make room for a sports hall, to the east of which are predicted to be two dancing studio.
Overall, facilities will be improved to become more various and comprehensive, which are more likely to attract citizens to visit and exercise there.
