There was the same considerable change in the number of U.K. people using two and no car, respectively, the steady growth before soaring to a peak of roughly 25% in 2007, halving before sinking to a trough of roughly 24% in the proportion of british household without car in 2007.
In contrast, while the proportion of british household using one car almost stably remained at roughly 44% after up and down, that of those using three or more cars increased slightly and reached a peak of roughly 7% in 2007.
