The following two pie charts show the results of the survey into the popularity of various leisure activities among adults in 1985 and 1995
The two charts compared the popularity of various relaxation of European adults from 1985 to 1995. In general, watching TV had a downward trend, whereas the other figures saw significant growth in the period of the question. Furthermore, there was an increase in playing computer games over 1995.
During the period from 1985 to 1995, the percentage of exciting in talking with friends are only a third, 18% and 7% respectively. This was the same with eating out and other activities. Twice as European adults were attractive in eating out and other activities over a period of 10 years.
It can be seen from the charts that in 1985, the most supported activities like watching TV before decreasing slightly in 1995, 32% and 30% respectively. On the other hand, talking with friends was less popular in 1985, with 21%, but it grew up moderately in 1995, with 26%. Moreover, the appears of new activity, playing computers, saw an increase considerably in 1995, with 27%.
In conclusion, both watching TV and playing computer games were more attractive than other activities between 1985 and 1995.
