The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005.

The line graph given illustrates the information about how many books were consumed by four countries, namely Germany, France, Italy, Austria over the course of 10 years, from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, the consumption of books in different countries saw an upward trend during the period. In particular, there was a significant increase in the amount of money spent on books in Italy.
In 1995, regard of Germany, it stood at the highest figure, about 80 million, while just only 55 million of the amount of money which France paid for books. With 50 million, Italy ranked as the third in consuming books. The least most investing in books was Austria, around 30 million.
During the period from 1995 to 2005, Its rate of growth in Germany, France and Austria was similar, with 90 million, 60 million and 40 million respectively. However, the expense of Germany reached a peak in 2005, around 95 million. Meanwhile, the consumption of Austria remained stable before rising gradually, about 40 million, between 1995 and 1999. After that, this figure saw a considerable rise in 2005, approximately 70 million. Besides, both France and Italy were the same in increasing in using books. With 75 million in France and just over 60 million.
