You have recently moved to a different house. Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter
• Explain why you have moved
• Describe the new house
• Invite your friend to come and visit
Dear Hannah,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you that I have transferred to a new house.
About a year ago, I received a notice that the building of the apartment where I was staying was bought by a local businessman. As soon as I got the advice, I then scouted for new accommodations way before the establishment was pulled down. I am now living in a 3 bedroom, two-storey house with a garage. Apart from that, I also have my own outdoor grilling station in my lawn.
I am planning to throw a Wet n' Wild themed housewarming soiree on the 15th of June. I've customized a program including a variety of games for all my guests. My parents will be flying here to celebrate their anniversary as well and I would be delighted if you can come and see them.
I will be sending an RSVP through email. Looking forward to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Joyce Smith
