The chart below shows the price in Euros of 800 grams of four types of bread in one European country from 2001 to 2006
The line graph provides a variety of information relating to how the European price of 800 grams per four different ranges of bread had changed during five years in a particular country in Europe.
It is obvious that whereas the price of brown, white and rye bread had increased in a whole period, there was a wide fluctuation in a wholegrain type. Especially, it was such the most significant growth that the price of brown bread took accounted for.
Looking in the chart for more details, in 2001, while citizens cost 0,8 euros for 800 grams of wholegrain bread, the amount of money paid for three other types was lower, being 0,6 euros. However, in the next year, not only wholegrain but also brown bread had soared dramatically and peaked at 1,8 and 1,5 euros per 800 grams respectively.
After two continuous years, in 2004, the price of wholegrain bread that city dwellers spent saw an incredible diminishing, being nearly twice times as less as in 2002. In addition, apart from the slight increasing in costs of white and rye bread, another was believed to be the most expensive in that country. Until 2005, the proportion of price that citizens consumed for brown and wholegrain bread was two to one. Moreover, rye bread was more inexpensive than white range, being 0,7 euros and 1,3 euros in turn.
