The line graph depicts the information about the fish and various types of meat namely chicken, beef and lamb consumed by European people per week from 1974 to 2004.
At a cursory glance at the graph, it is clear that European people ate chicken more than other types of meat and fish was least consumed. The consumption of chicken intially stood at 150 grams per person per week in 1974. After that, people started consuming more chicken and it reached its peak postion at 250 grams per person per week by the end of the year 2004. In contrast, european people in the year 1974 ate beef and lamb 210 and 150 grams per person per week respectively. The consumption of both kinds of meat fell gradually and was noticed approximately 110 and 60 grams per person per week by the year 2004.
On the other hand, european people consumed little amount of fish which was only 60 grams per person per week in the 1974 and its usage decreased slowly and it was noticed 50 grams in the year 2004 with minor fluctuations in the given time period.
Overall, the Europeans consumed meat more than the fish.
