The given bar chart represents comparative data about the proportion of European cinema-goers in different days during 5 years, starting from 2003.
Overall, it is clear that more people prefer going to cinema on weekends than weekdays, with the highest figure belonging to Saturday over the period.
As can be observed from the graph, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday experienced a fluctuation in the number of cinema visitors; it reached its peak at under 15% in 2005, 20% in 2003 and 19% in 2007. In contrast, those who pay a visit to cinema on Friday remained the same amount of 30% after 5 years. In addition, there was a plummet in the percentage of attendance on Wednesday, which going down from 16% to 9% at the end of the period.
In terms of weekends, 40% of the European watch films at cinema on Saturday, 10% more than the percentage on Sunday in the year 2003. After escalating to the highest point at 45%, the amount of Saturday fell by 3%. Similarly, Sunday showed a fluctuating trend and ended the period at about one third of the population.
