Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
· advise them of your situation
· explain how this is affecting you
· request a new card
Dear Sir,
Hope this letter finds you in good health.
i’m writing this letter to inform you, I lost my wallet couple of days back which had my student id in it. this was lost somewhere in cafeteria I looked around, asked some people but no luck. A formal police complaint was made same day as it contained my driver license and credit cards. The purpose for writing this letter is I don’t have any id on me, i’m unable to use the university facilities due to which my studies are being compromised. I went to administration department to get my replacement, but they refused to provide me as I didn’t have any id on me to proof my identity.
We have exams coming up, I don’t want to stress out myself on this, I will be thankful if you can please get my id request approved.
Attached is the police report.
Yours sincerely.
