The provided flow chart illustrates the information regarding the hydroelectric power station how it produced electricity. It is evident that several stages are invovled in the process starting from river to the power lines and national grid.
On analysing the diagram it becomes lucid that initially, the water is collected in high-level reservoir. After that, the water intake in a dam and this open in a day and closed in night. In the next step, the dlow of water is produced electricity in day time and during pumping of water flow is done at night.
Switching to the remaining process it can be seen that the transportation of water into a reversible turbines, which is connected with a generator is oprated that water into low level reservoir, while at night, the reversible turbines pump water into high level reservoir. Finally, the genrator in the power station is linked with power lines which are used to transport electricity to national grid.
Hence, it is apparent that all above listed steps are necessary for this process chart production of electricity in a hydroelectric power station and if any phase is missed, then whole procedure will be halted.
