The Hawaiian island chain began to form almost 80 million years ago in below the Pacific Ocean because of eruption on the seafloor. Firstly, after the techtonic movements, 'Hot Spot' have been occured on the ocean bed, which caused the emergence of underground magma. Actually, magma is originally 2.883 deep on the seafloor, but is magma spume was formed because of remaining stable of hot spot. Afterwards, numerous eruption took place, which occured the youngest volcano. Finally, it emerged above the surface of the Pacific ocean.
The major islands in the Pacific ocean are Niihau, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, Kahoolawe and Hawaii are 100 km away from each other, and these islands stand over solid dense rock, the Pacific plate that shifts around 7-9 cm per year.
