The charts illustrates the proportion of using water in six parts of the worlds for different purposes.
It is clear that the percentage of water used for agricultural take the most places in africa, central asia, south-east asia and south america. while other two, industrial use of water stay highest positions to compare with other purposes.
In central asia, the amount of water used for agriculture is highest with 88%, whereas south america, africa and south-east asia are slightly lower. However, in north america and europe, agricultural sector is not the main with 39% and 32 % respectively. In europe, the percentage of water using for industry is highest, 53%, while in North america the number is 5% lower than that, and others are much lower from 5% to 12%.
At the same time, the number of water consumption for domestic works take the second place in africa, central asia, and south america at 9%, 7% and 19% respectively. while in north america, europe, and in south-east asia the amount of water spending for domestic purpose stay in the lowest positions at 7%, 13% and 15% respectively, among other sectors.
